Twittering (in) traffic?

Posted By katie allison granju

Jack Lail points to the way the St. Louis Dispatch is using Twitter to text traffic updates.

Having just returned home from being stuck in traffic for NINETY MINUTES trying to get from West Knoxville to my house just north of downtown, I must say that anything that might help avoid traffic tie-ups sounds good, but is texting while driving (or even whilst stuck in traffic) really such a wise idea?

What the heck was going on on I-40 after work today anyway? It was backed up all the way to downtown going westbound when I left at 5:00pm. I ended up taking the back roads to get home. Was there a wreck?
