Some early voters are asking for a do-over

Apparently some Tennesseans who voted early for candidates who have since dropped out of the race want their money back, so to speak:

Early voting allows voters to skip possible long lines and bad weather on Election Day, but it can backfire.

“We’ve been getting calls from people who voted early for Fred Thompson and now they want to get their ballot back and vote for somebody else,” said Davidson County Election Administrator Ray Barrett.

“I had to tell them, ‘Sorry, that’s not how it works.’”
