George Korda believes last Tuesday’s election marks the start of diminished visibilityfor the two much-discussed Knox County political subgroups:
Now that the primary has passed County Commission is looking ahead to the Feb. 20 appointment of eight members to fill vacant seats until new Commissioners are elected in the August county general election.
A more independent Commission will be the result. There will be much less talk of a “Ragsdale faction” (which cannot at this stage possibly exist) and a “Hutchison faction” (any members of which were scarred by the results of the Feb. 5 primary).
Bad Behavior has blocked 739 access attempts in the last 7 days.
I sure hope he’s right, although I wonder if we’re not just creating new equally confounding subgroups that will be discernible later on.
