The Republican’s nomination of McCain has, like their diabolical choice of the feckless Bush “restoration” wastrel son eight years ago, positioned them perfectly for the fall election. They will promote the “moderate” McCain, who has appeal to independents, and will relentlessly savage Obama with unashamed “ethnocentric” tactics funded by 527 money and other typical means to pigeonhole and demonize the multiethnic “Hussein” Obama as too “foreign,” “un-American” or even “Manchurian” among the necessary voting groups. McKinnon knows what is coming and doesn’t want to be a part of it. Many of Obama’s supporters may believe that the GOP simply would not do something this obviously, well, racist, or even if they do, that it could not really work. Well yes they can and will do something like this (that is a certainty), and yes it can work if done in a selective, nuanced and creative way. Just ask McCain himself if it will work. He was on the receiving end of even worse stuff that worked very well to destroy his earlier presidential run. Now he can (and will) look the other way, and pretend revulsion, shock, and non-involvement while the Sith lords of the GOP’s shadow campaign use these dark tactics to bring down the “Obama-Osama” threat to America.
