How sad and unexpected it was that Knoxville actor Brad Renfro was left out of the Oscars homage the other night.
Doug Mason says Renfro fans will have one last movie to look forward to:
He is one of the stars of the unreleased film “The Informers,” which also features Winona Ryder, Billy Bob Thornton, Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger….“The Informers” is based on Bret Easton Ellis’ 1994 short-story collection of the same name. The film’s seven stories unfold in a week among “movie executives, rock stars, a vampire and other morally challenged characters,” according to its Wikipedia listing. It is in post-production and no release date has been set.
Bad Behavior has blocked 770 access attempts in the last 7 days.
Brad Renfro has one more film that is screening this Friday at the Philadelphia Film Festival and in August at the Rhode Island film festival. The award winning short film that he’s in is called “Collector”. There is a trailer online and a press release online as well. Hope you update your information. “Informers” was not his last.
