Most interesting charges in draft audit report?

In reviewing the individual charges listed in the newly released draft audit report, different people are struck by different items, not all of them “big ticket” purchases. For example, one of the commenters on the story at WBIR.com says:

My favorite questionable expense was from Requitta Bone’s account, www.flashingblinkylights.com

And I found one from November of 2004 interesting; Cynthia Finch charged just under $80 on her county p-card…to something she bought via Paypal.

At KnoxViews, commenter Bird-dog says:

“It appears that some employees regularly used the p-card at grocery stores and some filled up their car every few days, and they all took lots of trips, ate a lot, and bought lots of flowers…

At the KNS, TnVol07 opines:

“I look at all the people around me that are stringing out paychecks to make it from one end of the month to the other, never really getting anywhere, being responsible with their money, and not being a burden on anyone else either.

Then I think of the taxes that they spend. I think of the money that could be going to their bottom line, paying for food or utilities, saving to get ahead in life a little. Then I see that Vegas trips, fancy restaurants (how many times to Club LeConte?) and the like are where some of this went.”

From Tricia at KnoxBlab:

“I’m pretty amazed by the initial findings. I know it is a draft, but I have seen many, many draft audits over the years, and they aren’t changed much for the final version. I just can’t imagine how Ragsdale and the attorney are going to explain many of these things.
Forged invoices? I’m stunned. (and I don’t even follow this stuff very closely.)”

If you’ve had a chance to look over the draft audit, what charges jumped out at you? What did you find most noteworthy, puzzling or interesting in the draft report?

Dose Knox county need a mayor? Was he appointed or was he voted in?For those that voted yes on the wheel tax look where your money is going.Just think your hard working money is going to high gas prices high grocery prices and then to bills, and these guys that are handling our county taxes are the money we give them for their own personal uses. How about the poor or working poor that struggle every day just to put a few dollors of gas in the tank to get to work and can parily afford to feed their family.Shame on you Ragdale for letting this happen.
