WBIR looking for a few good bloggers

Posted By katie allison granju

I am happy to announce that within the next few weeks, WBIR.com will be launching a whole host of new online tools and community features.

We’ll also be building a roster of regular, featured blogs, in addition to Knoxville Talks. That means we’re looking for a few talented bloggers to join our team.

This isn’t a paying gig, but it will be a great way to get your voice, opinions and writing out there via the large and loyal audience we have at WBIR.com and on WBIR-TV..

So what’s your passion? Politics? Education? Parenting? Humor? Shopping? Your dog? Urban renewal? Downtown Knoxville?

We’re especially interested in featuring bloggers from communities outside of Knoxville, including Maryville, Oak Ridge, Morristown, LaFollette, Lenoir City, Morgan County, Crossville…. So if you are a resident of one of these or another East Tennessee community, and you would like to blog for us, we would love to hear from you.

If you do have some interest in being one of our featured WBIR.com bloggers, send me a message via the “contact us” form you see at the top of Knoxville Talks. Tell me a little bit about who you are and what you want to blog about. If you have a link to blogging you’ve already done, include that, too. Our editorial team will be reviewing e-mails and choosing our new bloggers very soon, and we want to hear from you!

And please pass this message along to anyone you think might be interested.
