UPDATE: Brian Hornback hearts Haslams

On KnoxBlab yesterday, someone identifying himself as “Brian’s Blog” (that’s the handle for former Knox County GOP Chair Brian Hornback’s blog) expressed some “issues” with alleged Haslam family control of local media and school board members.
To wit:
The Brians Blog Team members have followed this for a long time. There is no reason that Haslam should be controlling COUNTY schools. The Scripps paper and all the papers they own are in PILOTs pocket and they protect him and all of them. Their CF of O wrote about inner city schools. Why is that.Stay out of the COUNTY schools. Check Brians Blog and see where the paper will not investigate HASLAM and all the traveling he does. Pilot buys papers. I can just imagine what the BOSTON LIBERAL will bring to OUR schools. Haslam controls Anderson and this game has been obvious from the beginning to bring outsiders here to control Knox County School through the conspiracy. Have you read Brians Blog? Read it before you criticise. Haslam gave money to Karen Carson and he will not admit it. He is not a real conservative. How much evidence do you need. He has apponted more Liberals than Conservatives in his government. Madeline Rogero heads a department. Support the REAL CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PARTY in Knox County.
But today, Hornback signs his name to a post on his blog in which he tosses a little love Pilot’s way:
Based on some previous post it could be misinterpreted that Brian’s Blog or myself (Brian Hornback) is anti-Pilot or anti-Haslam. Nothing could be further from the truth. You can find me nearly everyday inside a Pilot store in the morning getting a cup of coffee or in the afternoon getting a diet coke. When I travel to our neighboring southern states, I plan my stops based on the location of the Pilot Travel Centers.
On the previous posts Brian’s Blog was responding and researching the issue of the Knox County School Board Chair’s comment that the anonymous donor was “someone not connected to schools.” Our only intent in researching this issue to death was to expose the cover up by the board chair.

I do not know who the person is that posted the first item and I am not sure what you are talikng about with the second item. BTW, the News-Sentinel and your employer WBIR and Bill Shory refuse to report anything that is remotely negative toward Haslam, even the facts. I guess that ad revenue is too good to pass up or is it that Bill Shory desires to ride the coattails of a Bill Haslam for Governor campaign and become the PR guy. Enquiring minds want to know about your alls bias.
