I’m pretty sure Rep. Campfield isn’t suggesting - with this statement on his blog today - that South Carolinians want to fund child predators : “The porn tax is being tossed around in South Carolina as a way to pay for child predators.”
Bad Behavior has blocked 617 access attempts in the last 7 days.
This is related to last year’s Huckster Stunt #43 where Rep. Campfield proposed a “porn not corn” tax. I marveled then at what a hypocrite he was for proposing to 1) raise a tax 2) against the right free expression, all the while claiming to be a Conservative.

Well in December he pointed to a tax just enacted in Texas called the “pole tax” saying it was like his “porn not corn” tax but slightly narrower. http://lastcar.blogspot.com/2007/12/texas-starts-pole-tax.html
Last week, a one of those activist liberal TEXAS judges ruled the tax unconstitutional. http://www.kxan.com/Global/story.asp?S=8086637&nav=menu73_2_4
That district needs a better representative to the the Statehouse.
