Smart PR in the local blogosphere

Not long ago, I blogged about the very smart, statewide PR campaign being launched via blog linkage on behalf of the lobby supporting wine sales in Tennessee grocery stores.

Now I see that it’s Zane Hagy’s clever, local PR firm behind all the blog buzz that a certain new Knoxville salon is getting.

If a publicist’s job is to get folks talking about his/her client, then making male bloggers aware of a new salon offering spa services delivered by scantily clad women was certainly a smart way to get that conversation going.
