So…um….uh…what do you think of this t-shirt?

This means that the Christian fundamentalists have been successful. Abstinence only birth control is working as planned by producing the needed higher level of white teenage pregnancies and more white babies to adopt by barren white fundamentalist couples. The white baby pipeline must flow, and because of it, many black babies will never know the cuddle of a real adoptive mother. Racism is one of the several main support posts of Christian fundamentalism in America. Denied publicly and held to passionately in secret.

Is this shirt some kind of joke? How offense is this to the adoption community…to the millions of women who lost their children to adoption - - were coerced in surrendering them. To the children never knowing who they look like, etc. Adoptive mothers/fathers will never experience, those that are infertile, the labor pains, etc and to chalk pregnancy up to adoption….is completely disgusting!
Anyone who’d spend $36 for a “one size fits most” T-shirt is getting just what they deserve.
Hi Ned. I was just stirring the pot a little. When you give the soup in the kettle a good swirl of the spoon, surprising ingredients sometimes rise to the top. That earlier post documents something that actually happened in my family back in the 1970s. Barren white couple. Conservative. Fundamentalist. State says adopt a black child or else. Couple refuses and walks out embittered. Couple becomes dedicated antiabortion proponents. “That teenager entering the clinic has the white child inside her that could have been mine.” However, contary to what I said earlier, one of the most famous statements from the female member of this couple was, “If I had my way, I’d take every 12-year-old girl in this country and put her on birth control pills until she is grown.”
Amen to that brother!!! If people were really serious about reducing abortions to almost nothing, this is what they would do. However, as I said earlier, the conservatives and fundamentalists have other irons in “…the fire down below.” Besides, abstinence only birth control is not about pregnancy prevention. It is about sin prevention. To this extent alone, it is an intrusion of the fundamentalist religious system into our public schools—and should be booted. Give’m pills, IUDs, etc. Teach abstinence only at church, and more power to the kids who take that to heart and can actually implement it totally for themselves. And for those barren fundamentalist white couples who are sitting on the edges of their seats and holding their breathe in anxious anticipation that a white teenager will get pregnant so you can get the baby—shame on you. Go read your Bible and focus on the word “covetous” and quit supporting fornication with your greed.
Actually Aulder, these days a lot of adoption agencies are having a hard time finding homes for black babies. Because white parents don’t want them? Hardly. They’re lining up.
So why? Because the black mothers placing them want black adoptive families, and there aren’t that many. It’s the expectant parents, not the adoptive parents, that are standing in the way of black babies being adopted into white homes.

No. until pregnancy is expensive, managed by agencies, and stops being unexpected, adoption is NOT the new pregnancy. What a stupid shirt.

@Aulder guy…Happy to break it to you stud - White fundamentalist couples aren’t the barren adoption seekers; that medal belongs to urban socialists. Take a hard look at the population statistics for any US state for confirmation.
