10 Things You May Not Know About …Mike Cohen
Some people seem to know everyone in town…and that person is Mike Cohen of Ackermann PR. He definitely has one of K-town’s most coveted rolodexes.
In previous lives, Mike managed newsrooms in Nashville, Houston, Fort Wayne, Asheville and Duluth, winning lots of awards along the way. Here in Knoxville, he’s been the media relations expert for the Victor Ashe mayoral reign administration, as well as Communications Director for the Knox County school system, and for Knox County. One of his more interesting assignments was being invited to both Slovakia and Serbia to help teach local officials and political activists how to use communications effectively.
He’s made a career out of talking on behalf of other folks, but in today’s “10 Things”, we get to hear him talk a little bit about himself.
