10 Things, and Cortney Piper’s new gig

At a relatively young age, Cortney Piper’s become quite a fixture in progressive Knoxville politics. She recently ran a high profile - though ultimately unsuccessful - campaign for County Commission Seat 2B, and she’s been active in environmental issues via her position as Communications Director with the Tennessee Clean Water Network.

Cortney informs me that she has just accepted a new gig as a fundraiser and environmental issues advisor with Mike Padgett’s Senate campaign.
