So will Howard Dean now share oversight of the Democratic National Committee?

Obama’s shaking things up at the DNC today:
As the Democrats’ presumed presidential nominee, Barack Obama is making some changes at the party’s headquarters.
Obama is keeping Howard Dean as the Democratic National Committee’s chairman. But he’s also bringing in one of his top strategists to oversee the party’s operations.
Earlier, the campaign announced that the DNC will stop accepting donations from lobbyists and political action committees, to bring the party in line with Obama’s campaign policy.
Party officials say they are expecting the DNC staff to quickly expand to run an aggressive general election campaign.
An Obama spokesman says the candidate appreciates the hard work Dean has done help the party grow “at the grass-roots level.” One of Dean’s goals has been to build the party from the ground up, even in states Republicans have dominated.

It’s the right thing to do. I’m not against lobbyists. I think they have a place in our political discourse, but they have corrupted our process to the point that the policies they support is often bad for the average guy who works hard but can’t make ends meet. They have way too much influence and say in how our government of the and by the people is run! They need to be held back.
