TNGOP’s Robin Smith has her fans

In case you haven’t been following the saga, I’ll catch you up.
Late last week, an e-mail that Tennessee GOP Chair Robin Smith sent to Governor Phil Bredesen was leaked to blogger A.C. Kleinheider, at The Nashville Post.
In the missive, Smith decries the fact that Bredesen declined to reaoopint her to the Tennessee Human Right Commission. Smith’s critics had mounted a campaign to oust her from the THRC, citing her support for TNGOP Communications Director Bill Hobbs tactics in criticizing Barack Obama.
The e-mail Smith sent to Bredesen - in which she claims she cannot be a racist because her children have an African American friend - has now drawn ridicule from many bloggers - state and national. And now, the folks at Nashville’s Liberadio have created a spoof of the infamous “Leave Britney Alone” video (warning, profanity in that one), sarcastically begging folks to “Leave Robin Smith Alone.”
