Knoxville neighborhoods revealed

Posted By katie allison granju

Local realtor-blogger Suzy Trotta has teamed up with Knoxify to create an online guide to Knoxville’s diverse neighborhoods.

This is a fantastic idea, and I enjoyed reading their first entry - on West Hills.

My only suggestions would be:

-I’d like to know a bit more about the housing stock - when they say homes “with character,” do they mean cool 50s ranchers with wood floors and huge, level yards (’cause that’s what they have in West Hills) or do they mean Victorian and Craftsman homes?

-Also, how is the walkability? Are there sidewalks throughout? Can you easily walk or bike to neighbors’ homes, or to stores and restaurants?

I look forward to seeing this very good - and much needed - online resource continue to develop and grow.
