Seeing Jim Bryson’s name back in the news makes me fondly recall his one ad of the gubernatorial campaign, reminiscent of Tim Burton a la “Big Fish.”
‘06 all seems a simpler time now, what with the presidential ads running. Five will get you ten the presidential campaign will offer neither a massive McCain nor a mammoth Obama. Figured you’d enjoy that classic.
(You may remember Bryson as the state senator who became the sacrificial lamb in the path of the Bredesen juggernaut. He recently laughed off the idea of a run at governor in 2010, but he is looking to increase his profile.)
UPDATE: Kleinheider has a copy of the communique from Bryson and his Government Accountability Project Political Action Committee, or GAPPAC as it’s listed on the sign-up site.
Here’s to hoping GAPPAC is an acronym to be pronounced out loud at political venues and rallies across the state.
GAPPAC!
–Jake.
