Next up to bat, Mayor Bill Haslam

Mayor Bill Haslam tossed out the first pitch and took the first at-bat at a game celebrating the senior league today.
After engaging in a small bit of good-natured trash-talk with the pitcher, he hit a foul ball in the dirt on the first pitch. On the second, he made good contact and put it in the outfield–all told, the mayor showed solid accuracy and respectable power on the swing.
Not quite at home on the mound, but he’d make a solid first baseman, I’d say.
What prominent local figures would you pick for your softball team?
I’m thinking Dwight Van de Vate at catcher, for his obvious skill at defense in a clutch situation; Sheriff J.J. Jones batting fourth for assessment and action in a tactical situation; Greg “Lumpy Lambert” in the outfield for some good chatter at the batter; and Commission Chair Tank Strickland at shortstop for his ability to handle, at a moment’s notice, chaos moving in multiple directions.
Your suggestions?
(On a side note, Mayor Haslam pitches right and bats left. I can’t tell if that’s a metaphor or not.)

We already know the advantage and the disadvantage of using the iphone with the same features and other that would bring us the convenience we all know that the trend sale of such gadgets is to have us the convenience and others but how about our budget isn’t they also convenient in our pocket we never know.
The research firm NPD Group recently, in an Engadget report, stated that the iPhone 3G has overtaken the lead in cellular phone sales, dropping the Motorola RAZR out of the top slot for the first time in almost 10 years. The shift would indicate that American consumers are looking for a phone that offers more features than just a handset for making phone calls. The recent massive advertising campaign hasn’t hurt Apple either, even if cell phone sales have actually dropped 15 percent since Christmas 2007. Apple still has to be happy with their position as the trendsetter in gadget style and taste. Eventually, America’s cell phone choices will seem far more full featured than what the Asian market already has access to. However, when it comes to short-term payday cash loans, America’s choices are broad. The economic crunch that is on combined with the looming Christmas season will force some people will to look for a little help between paydays. If taken with care and responsibility, payday cash can be a useful tool, like an iPhone.
